What We Do at Books & Theatre Journal

Beyond Stories

Our ethos at Books & Theatre Journal is that stories have the power to educate, inspire and ultimately connect people. We have a team of hand-picked experts who create creative and thought provoking reviews and insights for anyone who wants to broaden their understanding of key literary works. Instead of just outlining stories and talking about the writer, we want to delve into the background context and gain deeper insights into the stories themselves.

We publish reviews, essays and insights on a regular basis, with an eye for detail and a voracious hunger for honest critiques. Books & Theatre Journal does not stick to particular themes, pick works from a select group of writers, or have any other constraints. We want to find material that is meaningful, and give our readers honest reviews of what they can expect from these pieces.

Who Books & Theatre Journal is for

At the heart of our reviews and insights, our team are obsessive fans of literary and theatrical works. We love a good read, a meaningful theatrical performance, or a story that keeps people thinking for days on end. We share all of our insights to our readers, inviting them to broaden their horizons and learn about key works in greater detail.
