It’s burlesque Jim, but not as you know it!
Coinciding with the Pride Arts Festival More or Lesque! is a Burlesque Troupe with a twist, or should we say twists. From the choreographic genius that brought you Brokeback Disco Boys and The Bears: We Ate All the Pies comes More or Lesque, a whirlwind of comedy, song, sexy dance, acrobatics and a bit of seductive flesh.
Led by the infamous Major Suttle-Tease, this group promises hilarity, titillation and the occasional riot.
Major Suttle-Tease is the creation of Raymond-Kym Suttle. Raymond-Kym Suttle was raised in Zimbabwe and trained as an actor, theatre director and choreographer. He read his MA in Dance Studies at the Laban Centre. His work is renowned for being highly entertaining whilst commenting on current social and political issues.
In 2008 Raymond-Kym Suttle won the Male Tournament of Tease with his Brokeback Disco Boys duet that has been at the Royal Festival Hall, underground at Volupté in Holborn and Helsinki’s Gloria Club. In 2009 he choreographed the sell-out show The Bears: We Ate All the Pies
