Rough Velvet Collaborative present
by Jack James Ryan
8th - 10th January
The small slice of time between youthful indulgence and the ever growing and emerging awareness of adult responsibilities… and cancer.
Based on a true story, we follow the life of Alfie, a twenty something year old, fresh out of University with absolutely no clue what do to next. His world gets turned upside down when he finds out he’s got cancer and he has to rediscover himself all over again.
Touching on themes of male masculinity and mental health the play invites you to question what you think about cancer and what you think people with cancer are like. A dark comedy.
