After two years of no communication, Vicky’s old friend Tom turns to her for comfort. It’s not long before we realise that they both have old wounds still yet to heal and unfinished business to resolve. However just as the pair seem to be on the cusp of reconciliation a friend from their past returns with a dark secret and a perilous need for help that threatens to put Vicky’s ethics to the test.

“Jam Jars” is a new dark comedy written by Lily Frazer exploring grief and depression as well as love and the neuroses of modern relationships and the stresses inherent in young love and living. A love story for the modern age.

The first act of “Jam Jars” will be presented, after which the audience will be able to give constructive feedback allowing them to contribute to the development of a new piece. Feedback can be given in the form of comment cards or directly to the writer in an interavtive Q&A.

Lily is thrilled to be making her writing debut with John Thaw Initiative. Lily has had a successful
acting career in theatre, television and film and wrote “Jam Jars” whilst working as an actor in the West End.
