Tristan Bates Theatre

Wake Up Theatre presents

by Florence Keith Roach

29th April - 4th May

19:30 (14:30 matinee)

I am an autonomous, independent, sexually self-satisfied being.

Eggs follows two women leading very different lives. The only thing uniting them is their struggle against society’s expectations. This is a story about young women trying to figure out who they are, how to exist and who to be. In the end, it is friendship, however flawed, which rescues these women from utter alienation.

Girl One Emily Curtis

Girl Two Lauren-Nicole Mayes

Director Chantell Walker

Producer Wake Up Theatre

Set Designer Rachael Rooney

Light and Sound Designer Mark Simpson

“Curtis and Mayes give admirable and outstanding performances” **** North West End.

“Definitely a talent to watchTriForce Creative Network.

“This is very much a two character hour-long tour de force, testament to a binding emulsion of skilful acting which still had the raw resonance of adaptability on the stage-the characters moulding and shifting according to their experiences-brought together with punchy, powerful direction from Chantell Walker” Louder Than War.

Tickets are non-refundable and non-transferable. Please arrive at least 15 minutes before the performance begins. We cannot guarantee entry to the performance once it has begun. The Actors Centre reserves the right to refuse entry.
