Ticketing Terms & Conditions
Tristan Bates Theatre (TBT) reserves the right to make alterations to the advertised time, programme or cast without being obliged to refund monies or exchange tickets.
Tickets cannot be refunded unless a performance is officially cancelled. If a performance is cancelled ticket holders will be offered alternative performances (subject to availability) or a refund of the actual price paid for the seat(s). TBT will not be liable for any additional expenses incurred by customers in the event of a cancelled performance.
Every member of the audience, including children, must be in possession of a valid ticket in order to gain entrance to the theatre.
Any comments or complaints regarding the view from a seat or audibility of the performance should be made promptly to a member of Tristan Bates Theatre management before or during the performance. Tristan Bates Theatre management will endeavour to offer an alternative seat for the same performance, only in the event that this should be possible.
TBT reserves the right to refuse admission in reasonable circumstances. Any customers who are intoxicated or disruptive, abusive or violent to theatre staff, audience members or performers will be ejected from the theatre. In such circumstances, no refund of tickets will be given.
In the interests of other customers, parents or guardians may be asked to remove noisy or disruptive children.
Mobile phones, pagers, digital watches, laser pens or any other electronic equipment should be disabled when inside the auditorium to avoid disturbing the cast and other customers.
Latecomers will only be admitted to the auditorium at a suitable break in the performance, but admission cannot always be guaranteed and refunds or exchanges for an alternative performance will not be permitted. Should a customer leave the auditorium for any reason during the performance, re-entry shall not be granted until a suitable break in the performance, at the discretion of Tristan Bates Theatre management. The stage of some productions may mean that a suitable break does not occur until the interval, or not at all if there is not an interval. Tickets are non-exchangeable and non-transferrable, subject to availability and at the sole discretion of TBT.
The use of photographic and other recording equipment is strictly prohibited in the auditorium. TBT reserves the right to delete any unauthorised recordings and to eject any customers who are suspected of making recordings in the theatre.
Customers may not bring food or drink into the building other than items purchased at the theatre bar. TBT reserves the right to refuse to serve alcohol to any customer that appears to be intoxicated and to ask for proof of age prior to serving alcohol.
Security searches may be conducted and TBT thanks customers in advance for the co-operation in helping us to ensure the safety of all customers.
Performances may be recorded on occasion. Ticket holders automatically consent to the filming or sound recording of themselves as audience members. If you have any objections to being filmed or recorded please contact a member of the Tristan Bates Theatre management before the performance begins.
TBT does not accept responsibility for the loss or damage of any personal property.
English law and jurisdiction shall exclusively govern all of the above terms and conditions.
We request that wheelchair users or ticket holders with mobility or access concerns contact TBT in advance of their visit to the theatre to ensure the relevant space and assistance is prepared for their visit. Tristan Bates Theatre management cannot guarantee that wheelchair space will be available in the theatre unless pre-booked. Please call the box office on 020 3841 6611 to arrange this or if you would like to discuss any access requirements.
