Recommended Tube stations are Leicester Square (5 minutes), Tottenham Court Road (5 minutes), Covent Garden or Piccadilly Circus (10 minutes).

From Leicester Square, take the Covent Garden exit and turn left onto Cranbourn Street. At the junction take the second left onto Upper St. Martin's Lane, and turn left onto Tower Street after the Equity offices. The Tristan Bates Theatre is at the far end of the street on your left.

From Tottenham Court Road, walk down Charing Cross Road leaving CentrePoint on your left. When you reach Cambridge Circus, cross towards Pizza Hut and turn left up Upper Shaftesbury Avenue . Take an immediate right turn into Earlham Street and another right turn into Tower Street. The Tristan Bates Theatre is on your right.

From Covent Garden, take exit 4. Turn left at the exits and left again onto Long Acre. At the junction, turn right up Upper St. Martin's Lane and turn left onto Tower Street after the Equity offices. The Tristan Bates Theatre is at the far end of the street on your left.

From Piccadilly Circus, walk up Shaftesbury Avenue to Cambridge Circus, cross towards Pizza Hut and continue up Upper Shaftesbury Avenue. Take an immediate right turn into Earlham Street and another right turn into Tower Street. The Tristan Bates Theatre is on your right.

By Bus
Bus routes 24, 29 and 176 stop on Charing Cross Road and bus routes 14, 19 and 38 stop on Shaftesbury Avenue. Alight at Cambridge Circus, start walking up Upper Shaftesbury Avenue between All Bar One and Pizza Hut, take an immediate right turn into Earlham Street and another right turn into Tower Street. The Tristan Bates Theatre is on your right.

Bus routes 1, 4, 59, 68, 76, 168, 171, 172, 188, 243, 341, 521, RV1 and X68 stop at Aldwych, a 10-15 minute walk. Walk up Wellington Street/Bow Street to Long Acre, turn left, walk to Covent Garden tube station ( see Tube directions).

By Train
Recommended mainline rail stations are Charing Cross (10 minutes) or Waterloo (20 minutes).
From Charing Cross rail station, exit on the Strand, cross towards Trafalgar Square, walk past the front of St. Martin in the Fields Church, up St. Martin's Lane and turn left onto Tower Street after the Equity offices. The Tristan Bates Theatre is at the far end of the street on your left.
From Waterloo rail station, follow directions to the South Bank Centre and London Eye for the Hungerford pedestrian footbridge, which sits between them. Take the footbridge to Charing Cross station, exit at the Strand and follow the directions above.

Parking
There is no parking outside the Actors Centre although it is possible to unload vehicles near the front door. The nearest carpark is an NCP on the corner of St Martins Lane and Shelton St. The Tristan Bates Theatre is inside the congestion zone.
