Tayo Aluko presents
30 Sept - 26 Oct 2013, Tue - Sat, 7.30pm. Tickets from £10.

When Paul Robeson - actor, singer and civil rights campaigner - becomes too outspoken for the establishment's liking, he is branded a traitor to his country and denied opportunities to perform or travel.
CALL MR ROBESON charts his rollercoaster from diehard activism to dramatic downfall. Featuring songs (including Robeson’s extraordinary rendition of Ol’ Man River), great oratory, and a spectacularly defiant testimony to the Senate House Un-American Activities Committee.

Tayo Aluko returns to the TBT following his acclaimed production at FIRST in January 2013. Call Mr Robeson is part of the Paul Robeson: Arts as a Weapon Festival, featuring a host of events, performances and debates at the TBT - full details to be announced soon.
